Incense:- Most primitive sense
in human being because of its direct linkage by
olfactary nerves which sense fragrance to limbic
system, as important part of brain responsible for
storage of memories. This incense can directly affect
the human body functioning by changing mental &
emotional states. The fuming of incense is one of
the oldest practices of all ancient civilizations
since vedic times I.e, 5000 B.C. Main source of
incense are aromatic parts of different plants e.g.
Sandalwood, Khus, Rose, Jasmine, Musk, Champa, Cedar,
Kewda etc. Mode of use of incense in this modern
world is mostly as incense stick & Dhoop.
Incense Sticks:- It is commonly known as
agarbatti or prayer sticks in India. Agarbatti (Incense-Sticks)
is very important part of Hindu, Muslim, Boudha
Jain & Christian rituals. Agarbatti a hand made,
cottage industry product envolves more labour &
thus creats huge employment at root level devlopment.
Constituents:- Generally 8 or 9 inches long
bamboo stick 80% covered with fine paste of natural
ingredients like coal powder, powder of a plant's
bark, aromatic roots, rosin and adhesive with water.
After drying in sunlight, it is dipped into perfume.
Now it is ready for use. |

| About Archita Poojabatti |
Agarbattis (Incense Sticks) are heavily
used in Hindu Rituals for a long time. A traditional
Hindu pooja includes Tulsi (Basil's Leaves), Ghee,
(a fatty derivative of cow's milk), Camphor, flowers
sweets, betel leaf, betel nut, sandalwood paste,
water grains, cloth, cardamom & cloves out of
these 13 items First 3 items ie.Tulsi, Ghee &
Camphor are very essantial but daily use of these
items is often not possible.
Unlike other ordinary Agarbatties (Incense Stick)
Archita brand Incense sticks include extracts of
Tulsi leaves, Ghee & Camphor for making everyone's
pooja to complete. Therefore Archita brand incense
sticks are not ordinary agarbatties, it is called
Archita Poojabatti.
